Growers' NutriBaR

Hubby and I discovered some yummy energy bars last Saturday during the Merrell Adventure Run. The participants were encouraged to bring along and eat a piece or two of Growers' NutriBaR to keep their energy levels up while navigating the trails of Timberland Heights.

NutriBaR comes in three flavors: Apple Cinnamon, Peanut Butter, and Choco Chips. They are chewy and crunchy at the same time and taste great! I love the apple cinnamon flavor best but give me any of the other two flavors and I'll gladly eat them too! :)

I haven't had time to hunt down these goodies at the supermarket yet but I'll surely look for them soon. They would be great to keep in my bag whenever I'm on the go so I can just chomp on one when I get hungry on the road.

We Just Love Squid!

My youngest son and I like anything seafood, especially shrimps and squid. Yesterday, I saw a couple of Sundry products at Shopwise and found the prices okay.

Squid flakes at P42.00 per 50 g 

 Dried sweet pusit at P35.00 per 100g

Needless to say, both packs were emptied in less than a couple of hours after I got home :p

Tsoko.Nut Batirol SM Makati

I had a meeting in QC yesterday which finished early. My son and I proceeded to Makati for the RIO premier (movie review here) in Glorietta 4. Since we're around two hours early, we stopped by Tsoko.Nut Batirol in SM Makati to have a snack.

I ordered my favorite Tsokolate Ah with Kasuy (P94.00)

The little boy chose Palabok (P99.00)

and a Banana Spritz Shake (P105.00)

I like the ambiance of this place! :)

Shakey's Festival Mall Alabang

My oldest son took advantage of MyPhone's one-day sale yesterday. He bought the T23 Duo for P2388 instead of the regular P3499. (More about the phone-buying story here). Before we went home, we dropped by Shakey's to eat.
